Ingredients
1.5 lbs of beef stew meat cut into 1 inch cubes
3 medium carrots, sliced
2 medium potatoes, cubed
1 onion, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tsp. of paprika
1 tsp. of cumin
1/2 tsp. of black pepper
Salt to taste
4 cups of beef broth
2 tbsp of tomato paste
2 tbsp of vegetable oil
1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper (more if you prefer a fiery stew)

Instructions
1. Heat the vegetable oil in the large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Add the beef stew meat to the pot and brown on all sides. Remove the meat and set aside.
3. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
4. Stir in the paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Cook for another minute.
5. Add the tomato paste and stir to combine with the spices.
6. Return the beef to the pot, add the carrots, potatoes, and beef broth.
7. Bring the stew to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 2-2.5 hours.
8. Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve your Shadowfire Stew hot.
