Ingredients
4 cups of filtered water
1 bag of green tea
1 tablespoon of honey (or agave for strict vegans)
A handful of fresh mint leaves
1-inch piece of ginger, sliced
1 tablespoon of spirulina powder
Juice of 1 lemon
Ice cubes for serving

Instructions
1. Pour 4 cups of filtered water into your large pot and bring to a boil.
2. Once boiling, add in the green tea bag, sliced ginger, and fresh mint leaves.
3. Reduce heat to medium and let your tea steep for 5 minutes.
4. After 5 minutes, remove the tea bag with a strainer and continue to simmer the tea to allow the mint and ginger to infuse for another 15 minutes.
5. Remove the pot from heat and allow to cool for a while.
6. While the tea is cooling, squeeze the juice from 1 lemon and set aside.
7. Once cooled, strain the tea into your blender, remove the mint leaves and ginger slices.
8. Add the lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of honey (or agave), and 1 tablespoon of spirulina powder to the blender.
9. Blend the mixture until fully combined and the consistency is smooth.
10. Pour the draught over ice in the glass cups and serve chilled.
