Ingredients

  1. 1 lb ground beef

  2. 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  4. 1/2 tsp salt

  5. 1 tsp black pepper

  6. 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  7. 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  8. 1 egg

  9. 1 jar of marinara sauce (approx 24 oz)

  10. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  11. Pasta of choice (spaghetti is a classic option)

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chopped parsley, and egg.

2. Mix these ingredients together until they are well-blended.

3. Using your hands, form meatballs that are about 1 inch in diameter.

4. In a skillet, cook the meatballs over medium heat, turning regularly to ensure they are evenly cooked. This should take about 10-12 minutes.

5. While the meatballs are cooking, begin preparing your pasta according to package instructions.

6. Once the meatballs are fully cooked, drain any excess oil from the skillet.

7. Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet with the meatballs and simmer for about 10 minutes.

8. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the meatballs and sauce, and allow it to melt slightly.

9. Once the pasta is cooked and drained, serve it onto plates.
