Ingredients

  1. 12 Oz Spaghetti

  2. 2 Cloves of Garlic

  3. 2 Small Onions

  4. 4 Fully Ripe Tomatoes

  5. 1 Cup Fresh Basil

  6. 2 Tbsp Olive Oil

  7. 1 Tsp Salt

  8. 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper

  9. 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese

  10. 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese

  11. 1 Cup Red Wine

Cooking Utensils

  1. Large pot

  2. Colander

  3. Saute pan

  4. Chef's knife

  5. Grater

  6. Serving bowls

Instructions

1. Begin by filling a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and set it on high heat to boil.

2. Once the water is boiling, add the spaghetti and cook until al dente.

3. Meanwhile, finely chop the onions and garlic.

4. Heat olive oil in a saute pan over medium heat.

5. Add chopped onions and garlic to the pan, sautéing until they turn translucent.

6. Dice the tomatoes and add them to the pan.

7. Let the tomato mixture simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

8. Add in the red wine, stirring until the entire mixture is heated through.

9. Once the pasta is cooked, use a colander to drain the water.

10. Add the drained pasta into the sauté pan mixing it with the tomato and wine sauce.

11. Grate the parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the pasta and stir until it entirely melts.

12. Season with salt, black pepper, and garnish with fresh basil.
