Instructions
1. Clean the pork ribs and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Rub the ribs with olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper.
3. Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but preferably overnight.
4. Preheat your grill or oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
5. Place wrapped ribs in the oven or closed grill and bake slowly for 2.5 - 3 hours until meat is tender and easily comes off the bone.
6. While the ribs are cooking, prepare the barbecue glaze. In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, honey, zest and juice of oranges, crushed red pepper flakes, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
7. Bring your grill or oven to higher heat (about 400 degrees Fahrenheit).
8. Unwrap the ribs; apply a generous amount of the glaze on the ribs using the basting brush.
9. Grill or bake at higher heat for another 10-20 minutes each side, basting and turning occasionally until the ribs are nicely caramelized.
10. Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before serving.
