Ingredients
1 Kg Beef chunks
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 chopped carrots
2 onions
3 cloves of garlic
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 bay leaves
3 cups beef broth
1 cup red wine

Instructions
1. Season the beef chunks with salt and pepper according to your taste.
2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Add the beef in the heated oil and cook until it's brown from all sides.
4. Remove the beef to a plate.
5. In the same skillet add the chopped carrots and onions. Cook for 2 minutes until they are soft.
6. Add the chopped garlic cloves and cook for another minute.
7. Transfer the beef chunks, the vegetable mix, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried rosemary, bay leaves, beef broth and red wine to a slow cooker.
8. Cover and cook on low heat for seven to eight hours or on high for three to four hours.
9. Adjust the seasoning if needed and serve hot.
